We began capturing images on film at the age of 22 when we discovered our dad’s old Pentax in the attic. The limited amount of images on a roll of film forced us to put our camera phone down and really observe the beauty in the world, and the people around us. Whenever we pick up my camera, we strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.

Let's Connect
After photographing hundreds of portrait sessions over the past few years, we’ve found that we’re not the perfect fit for every family. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. We want to hear everything—how you met, funny first date stories, and how y’all got engaged.
We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with us and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other.
Location
Once your date is reserved, we’ll connect to start chatting about possible locations for your session. We generally recommend choosing one location and if it’s a place you haven’t been before, it might be helpful to visit during the time our session will take place.
That way you have an idea of the light, crowds, closing time, etc! If you’re not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, just let us know because we would be happy to recommend a few locations based on your aesthetic!
Wardrobe Styling
If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you’re in luck.
We put together an extensive outfit suggestion guide with tips for every member of the family (even Fido!)
The Session
On the day of your session, we’ll connect to make sure the weather still looks like it’s going to corporate. We’ll exchange numbers and finalize our meeting location. Please plan for your session to take about two hours from start to finish.
Deliver
All images from our sessions are typically delivered within about two weeks of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media.
Your gallery will remain active for six weeks.
Keepsakes
We are proud to offer our clients a variety of ways to turn their images into keepsakes. Wall-mounted canvas prints to decorate your home, beautiful handmade albums and more.

Handcrafted Albums
THE PERFECT WAY TO REMEMBER YOUR WEDDING DAY
We’re big believers that images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space. One day, most likely, Instagram will be gone, your phone will be replaced and images that you can physically hold in your hand will be the best way to remember those precious moments we captured.
Think about this fact: fifteen years ago, if we had delivered you digital images, they would have been on a floppy disk. With the fast updates to technology, you would have no way to access those images today. Even the online galleries we deliver will eventually fade away.
One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents’ wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on a coffee table.

After we deliver your gallery, we’ll work with you to order prints and design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions).
With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.

But prints? Those last. I bet your family still has images from your grandparents (maybe even great grandparents.) And that was likely from a time period when cameras were expensive and prints were harder to come by.

Q:
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
A:
While turnaround times can vary by season, we aim to deliver all images within three weeks of your session.
Q:
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
A:
While we don’t guarantee an exact number of images, we will make sure we capture your family thoroughly. Most families should expect to receive at least 25 edited images following their session.
Q:
DO I OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?
A:
By default, the creators of images always own the rights to the images. However we’ll give you a release to use, print and share your images. The only thing you won’t be able to do is sell your image as a stock photo. We won’t do this either without your written permission.
Q:
WILL YOU RETOUCH OUR IMAGES?
A:
We do light retouching on all of our images. This means that if there are any glaring objects that should be removed (such as a bump from the tumble your toddler took that morning,) we’ll remove it. Larger edits (such as removing tan lines,) require more time and would require us to add additional editing hours to your collection.
Q:
HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE IMAGES?
A:
We guarantee that your images will remain in an online gallery for at least a year. While your galleries may stay up longer than that, we cannot guarantee it. Once your galleries have been delivered, we highly recommend downloading all high resolution images to several devices. Consider investing in a portable, waterproof external hard drive.
Q:
CAN I PRINT THE IMAGES ON MY OWN?
A:
Yes, you are welcome to print the images on your own. If you do this, we recommend making sure that the printer does not color correct the images (many automatically do this.) We also recommend looking for a high quality printer. While 10 cent prints sound great in theory, the cheaper printing quality often won’t do your images justice. Paper quality, color correction and a handful of other factors play a big role in the way your prints turn out. This is one of the reasons why we LOVE offering prints to our clients.
Q:
HOW LONG SHOULD WE PLAN FOR THE SESSION TO TAKE?
A:
We typically plan about 90 minutes for sessions. While we likely don’t need to be shooting this entire time, this does give us the flexibility for location changes, rowdy kids and time to warm up.
